“Excellent hotel in good location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

Lovely hotel, right next to tube and Shard. Double room very clean and good facilities. Bed very comfortable and had an excellent sleep, one of the best I have had when staying in hotels.
Staff were very professional and helpful. Would stay here again

I was frustrated to find that the king bed in our room was actually two twins pushed together but the location is excellent thanks to the Tube just steps away. Be sure to check that your room is not equipped with one of these jerryrigged beds! It was not a comfortable sleeping experience for four days.

We had a 2 night stay in a double room with breakfast. The room was small (especially if you have lots of luggage like us) BUT the bed was amazingly comfortable, lovely linen, towels etc.
Breakfast was very tasty (buffet style) and despite being very busy the staff were great and attentive. In fact all the staff that we spoke with were very helpful, friendly and efficient.
We had a drink in the bar one evening, very pleasant and the styling of the hotel is great in all areas. Definitely recommend as a base, so near the river, Borough market, the Shard etc and really good value overall.

Room Tip: Double room is quite small - ok for a couple, not sure about friends sharing.

We were in London to celebrate our Niece 30th birthday, picked The London Bridge as it was going to be near where her party was being held, our room was modern, clean and very comfortable, we met in the bar so she could open her presents before going onto the Shard for more drinks - brilliant location hotel couldn't be nearer if you tried, staff were so helpful and welcoming and one person we would like to single out is Phillipe the concierge, we had trouble getting a taxi to take us to the party and my Niece was getting worried she was going to be late, this lovely man walked down to the main road and found us one which we felt was beyond the call of duty.
It was a shame we were there for only one night, but are already planning our Christmas trip and will be staying at the hotel again.

Exceptional experience at the London Bridge Hotel. Friendly staff and easy check in after a long journey. The hotel lobby was bright and clean and there was plenty of information booklets and maps of the city to choose from. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, i would say the nicest room I have ever stayed in. The bed was so comfortable that I would have liked to just lay in it all day! Food, cocktails and service were second to none in the hotel bar and the breakfast in the restaurant was lovely, with so much choice. Our overall experience of the London Bridge Hotel was perfect well worth every penny and we would love to return again in future! Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have never been one for leaving bad feedback but my stay this weekend and the poor response to criticism from the hotel has prompted me to leave this review. I Booked a double room for a romantic break and ended up in a room, described as a double but with just about room to walk around the bed. If the size of the room disappointed then the view from the window totally ruined the stay. The room looked out on a concrete wall less than 2 feet away that took up over half the window and would have blocked all natural light if it hadn't been for the the glass building opposite that reflected some light back towards the room. When I questioned the room size and obstructed view I was told by reception that they would make a note and give me a better room when I next stayed at the hotel - which I informed them that I would not - they then offered me a comments card - poor, poor service

Room Tip: Avoid Room 509 or find a better hotel

I am very sorry to read that your you were disappointed with your stay with us on Saturday 26th
October. It is unfortunate that we were unaware of your dissatisfaction until you checked out on Sunday as we would have been able to offer you another room which hopefully would have met your expectations.

I understand that this was a special occasion and if you would like to contact me I would welcome the opportunity of arranging another stay for you.

Kind regards

Nicholas Cowell
