“Wonderful food, great service, reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

Looked appealing from the outside - plenty of people eating and a decent if not especially inspiring menu. However, the staff were great and altered one of their specialties to cater for the taste of one of our party. Service was fast, food delicious and overall would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely go back when in London again.

“If looking for good indian food...it's not here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Love indian food but the quality of food at this restaurant is not good. The dishes were greasy, lacking in flavour. The tables are all crammed in very close to one another. We felt that it was one big rush to get you served and get you out of the restaurant for the next person as quickly as possible. No atmosphere. Not value for money. We had researched a restaurant called, "Holy Cow Fine Indian Food" (or something like that and I wish we had found it and went). I'm certain our indian dining experience would have been much better (although it wouldn't have been hard following this restaurant).

“AWFUL! Anywhere on Queensway aside from This! AVOID!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

This is a warning to anyone in the Bayswater area to not eat here. This place is a SCAM. I paid about $80 for a $8 quality meal. I am NOT exaggerating. The food is flavorless, the seating is CRAMPED to the point of *fire hazard*! The rice, instead of being fluffy and plentiful was in a small bowl and obviously made from a packet. You cannot exit the restaurant without turning sideways to squeeze past people's chairs. Ordered Chicken tikka. Weird. Literally, the food does not taste like Indian food. I was embarrassed to be buying my friend his "special" dinner before I left town. Morified. The check was impossible to read and we were clearly charged for something extra we should not have been charged for. Waiter/manager pretended to not know what I was saying when I told him to leave off the "capsicum" (bell pepper), which should never have been with the paneer anyway. This place should be shut down. If you've never eaten Indian food, you still will not have if you eat here!

“Standard Indian restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

A small restaurant on Queensway and 4 of us had dinner on a Wednesday night. The tables are quite small and cramped so not a relaxing atmosphere. The head waiter took our order and was quite sharp with taking drinks order and pushed us a lot to get some extra starters. The drinks and food were served quickly but were just average in flavour. It was a busy night for them with people bringing school children for late meals and this added to the noise in the place and it was not relaxing. It seemed that the staff wanted tou get you in and out as quickly as possible without little thought of the customers. Prices were average so better to look for somewhere more comfortable and better service.

“Dont even try”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We visited this restaurant on our first day in London and we almost formed an opinion that all Indian restaurants in London are this rubbish. We ordered the standard Butter chicken and Nan; not wanting to experiment too much. Even this we were terribly disappointed. Butter chicken had no tomato gravy in which it is normally cooked neither the mustard oil or the Kasoori methi. Totally hopeless and cost a bomb. My wife ended sleeping hungry. DO NOT VISIT.
