“Great Staff, Great Buzz, Great Value”

Usually go for hotels - but at short notice chose this gem. Checked out the reviews beforehand and went on that.

Lockers are a great size - not like other hostels it seems, and this is so important to feel your things are secure. Who wants to sleep with one eye open watching your belongings? Sheets and rooms clean. 24 hour reception etc.

But most of all the staff are just terrific - nothing is too much for them.

Loved it!

I was there for one night and I had so much fun. The staffs were so nice and most of them know most of the guests. When I got my room, she was like: "Oh! you're lucky. Your roommates are fun to be with" and she was right.
Room, bathroom, breakfast was good and clean. The location is also good. Easy to find some places to eat. In addition to that, it's only 5-10 minutes to the closest underground, which is Paddington. If I'm going to London, I will definitely stay again.

Stayed here at the weekend, nice hostel and great location. Only problem was on returning from a night out me and my friend were talking in our room. We heard a bang on the door and were afraid to open the door. We presumed if it was staff they would say so. Another bang on the door came just as I was about to open the door. A man came through the door to ask us to be quiet. We were in shock the man had never said he was a member of staff when banging the door, he just let himself into our room. I fully except if we were being loud there is no problem in telling us to be quiet. But surely there is more protocol than to just let yourself into someone room. If he had said he was staff when he banged on the door of course we would of let him in. But to just let yourself into someone room is unexceptable baring in mind we were two girls on our own and a man just let's himself into our room. When we asked why he had not said he was staff when banging on the door all he offered was a shrug of his shoulders. No apology what so ever. I would think twice before staying here again.

Rooms were well cleaned and breakfasts are really good. We felt a little bit cold in the room at night but it wasn't a big problem.

You only have free wifi access in the common areas. Staff is really friendly and they try to help you as much as they are able to.

Don't be put off by the hostel title. This is :Great value for money and location. Loved the friendliness of the staff and buffet (basic) breakfast. Efficient and easy. Great price for a clean, ensuite family room. Definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is ideal for tourists because it is nice but cheap. Breakfast was also included in the price which was excellent and the breakfast was good! The staff at reception were helpful and friendly. The place was very safe and rooms were cleaned every morning. The place is very close to the underground and a lot of bus stops.
