“Looks can be deceiving”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013 via mobile

This hotel looks brilliant at the entrance, thats where the cleanliness and quality stop. Our room was dull and was not a nice place to be, the staff seem to be always watching you to make sure you dont get any more than they they allow (even down to asking for room numbers for some cold toast!)

The beds were ok and so was the shower but it had been "fixed" with tape and was a shower head connected to the taps.

To sum up this hotel is ok for a day or two but I wouldn't want to stay again.

The hotel was horrible you were only allowed two piece of toast, the dish was the size i would give a baby, charging you over £5 for a full English breakfast. The room was dingy no windows the only decent thing was the shower and that was taped up with duck tape i would never go back there or recommend it to anyone and don't let the entrance fool you.

I travel a lot, and this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. It was unclean, hot and for the rooms facing the street very noisy. I can manage a bit noise, but this was like sleeping in the middle of the road. With no aircondition you have to open the window. A lot of traffic, road maintaining to 11 at night and a lot of sirens from ambulances.

This is a large hotel that has seen better days. There are not real facilities but if all you are looking for is a room for a few nights where you sleep and then go out for the day then this hotel will do. The breakfast is not worth bothering with but since it is free you do not feel you have wasted money. There are plenty of cafes around for you to buy breakfast for a reasonable price. Bus travel into central London is cheap and frequent.

Reasonable place, nice people helpfull,
Room was a disappointment. Booked a room with two beds and received a room with three bunkerbeds, less space for walking and one of the beds was taped with ducktape to hold it.
Next they they gave me another room, which had two bunkerbeds and a twinbed.
Noicy my son aged 13 couldn t sleep because he ciuld clearly hear the neigbours having s..x...
Breakfast 5 pounds...not spectacular, cofee not drinkable,
So we had our breakfast st the bakery a steeet further

The hotel was really dirty at breakfast we got 2 pieces of toast
And jam so we asked for cheese we got one piece of cheddar cheese that had blue spots everywere disguisting further one at night we came back to our room
And we found cockroach on our bed. We had such a small room that breathing was almost not possible! We would not recommend you this accomodation never in a million years!

Lots of stairs! We were in a basement room so no window which would have been ok if the lighting had been better...just one very dim overhead light! A few table/desk lamps would improve this. Otherwise the room was clean, beds reasonably comfortable and the shower was excellent. You get what you pay for...£54 in our case for three of us.
