“Couldn't believe it was open to the public!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

We accidentally stumbled upon this and were thrilled to be allowed to visit inside. We went through a security check at the front of the building and then were allowed to wander upto a sitting court. We sat for about 30 minites, just taking in the court proceedings. The staff were all welcoming. We found uta all quite fascinating. We felt very privileged to have been allowed to watch this court in session! Go and have a look!

“Well worth a short visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

Free. The stewards were well informed and enthusiastic talking about the courts or answering questions.
Only need 30-40minutes.

“Open day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013 via mobile

We were able to look inside and take photos. This is a lovely building from the outside and just as lovely on the inside. I was allowed to put robes and a wig on. With etched glass and wood panels it's worth a look. It was free too

“Caught by the Long arm of the Law.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

I had a nice wander around in this historical building. Was most pleasantly surprised both that it was free, and that they allowed you around the building (including the Court Rooms) unsupervised. The café downstairs is very nice as well, with quality food at a reasonable price.

“Pinnacle of Justice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013 via mobile

Saw this building across the green from Palace of Westminster and originally was Middlesex County Court. Worth a visit too see the interactive display in the basement but also the three courts all very different in interior design but fascinating. We found the staff helpful and informative. An interesting free tour not to be missed.
