Always loved going to Richmond Park when living locally over the years, even more so now living thousands of miles away. It is so vast and wild, easily forget that its only zone 3/4 in South West London! The Heathrow planes will remind you that fact but as the flight paths is north of the park towards Kew Gardens so thats not a problem here. From some higher ground you have a maganificient view of Central London, like a film setting. Walking around with the wild animals particularly the large groups of deers, it is so enjoyable like being in David Attenborough's world.
