“The amazon forrest of London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

A truly spiritual bit of nature surrounded by metropolis. There are many parts of the park which are completely isolated from the mega city that surrounds it.

Full of nature and wildlife (hundreds of Deer, birds etc) this park is cleaned and maintained perfectly with many respectful users also doing their bit.

This park is a true treasure of London

“Forget that you are in London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

There are some places where you cannot see any city line on horizon and that make the place so special as you quickly forget about the busy city around. It is the place where you can see deer and be able to get very close to them. It is so diverse, woodland and grassland and lakes and all sort of picturesque landscape surrounding you all the time. I love to get there and just stroll the paths, every time different one. it will take you hours of walking to get to know this place.

“Beautiful green oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

We drove right round Richmond Park after lunch in Pembroke Lodge. There were deer everywhere and the trees were just breaking into leaf. It was a very vibrant green. I have been going to Richmond park since I was young when I used to go with my parents (I'm 70 now) and have been back many times in every season. My Husband regularly takes walks in it, while my daughter runs round it and up and down the hills, while a friend does cycle training. The views are fantastic from being able to see Windsor Castle in the west to St Paul's in the east. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to get out of London.

Amazing place so close to London. Great fallen trees for children to play on. The deer seem to be urn fazed by the amount of cars and people about
