“Not necessarily interesting unless you're into Botany or during blooming season.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Went at the wrong time: autumn. Much better in Spring and Summer and during the excitement of the Chelsea Flower Show.

“Calm and clean gardens in the heart of London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

We crossed the gardens on our way from Albert Royal Hall to Oxford Street and found it to be a very pleasant and calm place. On Monday morning there were not so many people and you can find some very nice places to sit and just relax.

“Nice & quiet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

Kensington Gardens, one of London’s Royal Parks and formerly the private gardens of Kensington Palace, lies to the west of Hyde Park.

Located between the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the nearest underground stations are Lancaster Gate & Queensway.

This is a very nice & quiet park with lots of green space to relax in. Features include the Round Pond, a Dutch garden, The Italian Garden & a Peter Pan statue. The part of the Serpentine that lies within Kensington Gardens is called The Long Water.

Kensington Gardens open during the hours of daylight

Pictures are worth a thousand words & I posted a lot of them there :

“Peter Pan site”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

On our visit to London, I spent some time with my son to see some tourist sites and visit the museums whilst may wife and daughter went to see some friends and shopping.

Kensington Gardens was one of the places we came to and to see the Peter Pan statue. Kensington Gardens was once the private gardens of Kensington Palace, lying immediately to the west of Hyde Park. Its a place to have a decent walk, smell some fresh air but signage could be better.

“Gorgeous gardens any time of year”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

This is next to Kensington Palace and its a wonderful spot to appreciate the horticulture of early Regency Period Britain...It is adjacent to the Kensington Orangery, where you can have lunch and scones and high tea and yummy cakes in a wonderful glassed atrium..It opens up into the more formal Kensington Park.
