“Good Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Stopped her for 3 nights when due to visit London for the Dungeons, Aquarium, Eye and Thorpe Park. The Hide is next to the Hendon Tube Station and about 20mins into town (£8 day saver ticket).

Our room was little small, but nothing to complain about. It was modern in finish and had free air con and safe. The shower room had a great shower and good products (L'Occitane) supplied. You get slippers, chocolates, cans of branded pop, bottles of still & fizzy water, biscuits, and (Fortnum & Mason) tea and coffee all complimentary. Mini fridge supplied.

The breakfast was continental but loads on offer - cereals, toast, danish pastries, muffins, cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon, pate, etc. Very filling, delicious and good quality.

We had a great stay and would definitely return. We paid £100 per night for both of us which, in London, represents good value especially considering all the extras you get here. We had a room at the back so no noise problem. Also - free car parking (even after we checked out) - a real positive thing in London.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back away from the road.

Great location - a few minutes walk from the Underground. The staff were extremely helpful, providing a cot for our baby at short notice, and fantastic customer service throughout. They also allowed us to check in very early - at 11am, so that we could make the most of our first day. On our final day they also let us leave our car at the hotel, not returning until 2pm, so that we could spend the day in London. We would definitely come back.

we stayed here in april, such a friendly hotel, lovely room, very modern and clean, had the loft room at the back over looking the car park, the road on the front as alot of traffic noise, so if your a light sleeper, ask for the back! breakfast was lovely, cereals, toast, lots of ham, cheese, salmon, makes a welcome change from bacon and eggs!!! i really cannot fault this hotel, it is away from the center of london, but the train is a walk away, so no problem, and free car parking at the hotel is a bonus, i will return!!!!!

Room Tip: back rooms if your a light sleeper!!

I stayed here in March with my husband after searching for a Hotel which was within walking distance of underground links to the west end, provided free parking and was easy to drive to. This hotel ticked all the boxes and more. On arrival we were met by polite and friendly staff who showed us to our room and explained that the fridge stocked with bottled water and branded soft drinks were included, which was nice, as were the 5 Guylian chocolates, which I quickly found a home for.
The room was very quiet considering that it was on a main road and the area felt safe to navigate at night. The underground link was within walking distance and the continental breakfast was nice, with a good selection.

The only thing you need to be aware of, is that the parking is very limited and you are recommended to reserve a space before arrival. Lucky for us it was empty when we arrived.
We will be staying here again, without hesitation.

Room 15. Nothing to complain about. The bed was the most comfy I'd ever slept in, room had complimentary mini-bar, lots of posh bits in the shower and was very stylish. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Easy to get to 1 minute from Hendon Central which is 20 mins to Tottenham Court Road at £8 for a day tube ticket. Continental breakfast was delicious with some lovely coffee. They also let us leave the car after check-out so we could leave it safe whilst we got the tube into London again. Definitely will return when we need to go to London again.

Room Tip: It's on the North Circular, so I'd ask for a rear room. Also booking parking is essential.

We had a beautiful stay at The Hide! The rooms were fantastic and very clean, and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The only downside to the hotel is that its not more central, but the great value more than makes up for that.
