Nothing disliked. I went with my wife to attend the swan lake show, it was out of this world. The pace is really royal

“Magnificent one-off experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I had never seen a ballet before and took the opportunity to purchase a very expensive stalls ticket as a one-off treat. I saw Mayerling.

Prior to the ballet's commencement, I ate in the restaurant which is a very attractive place. However, I was a bit disappointed by the food, particularly a side dish of asparagus which at £7.50 was over-priced. Although we were in the asparagus season, I'm afraid the chef bought some fat, woody specimens which did not steam through properly and were therefore rendered inedible. i did mention this to the waiter, who didn't seem to appreciate the finer understanding of correct asparagus cooking or purchase but who was nevertheless polite.

Suitably fed and watered I went to see the ballet itself and was very impressed by the magnificence of the theatre. It is an amazing place and on a par with anything in Vienna.

“First outing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

The building and lay out of this establishment are not what I expected to be overwhelmed by, but it is an incredible location. The bars and food arrangements are very well organised for such a busy crowd and you can have a marvellous evening with friends taking in the surroundings, as well as the incomparable quality of the dancing.

“The Proms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

You can't beat the Proms for affordable classical music in London in August. It's not air-conditioned, though, so dress in layers and prepare for warmth and humidity.
