“Wonderful for bird-lovers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

All London's parks are lovely - this is no exception. There is a huge variety of birds on the lake - with boards explaining what they are. There is a large cafe overlooking the lake.

A stroll through the park brings you to Buckingham Palace or Horseguards Parade (by Downing Street) or you can wander back up The Mall to Trafalgar Square.

Lovely - even in February.

“It's gone to the birds.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

I had a great time spending the better part of the afternoon walking through St Jame's and taking in the sights. It was a great reprieve to have this large park in the center of the city. It was filled with water and trees and of course the birds, so many birds (I am referring to variety and just general quantity as well).

“London is also many amazing parks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

This Park is surprising, it's located in the very heart of London just a few minutes walk from Buckingham Palace, and it's a must see for everybody passing by London. It's full of natural life and having a walk around is an amazing experience by itself. Take a seat on a bench and enjoy birds all around, you shouldn't feed them as clearly remarked on signs, but as far as I could see there are so many people who simply cannot resist.

“Park yourself for a picnic..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

The very heart of the real London. Behind St James Place - next to Buckingham Palace - five minutes to Waitrose Belgravia - ten to Harrods. Treat yourself to some posh take-away from either - and a rug from your hotel and slot yourself into the heart of London history. And then join the ghost of Ian Fleming at his favourite bar. You'll have to do a bit of spying to find out which that is - but it's only minutes away....

“Beautiful park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

St James's Park is a beautiful London park. There is plenty of wildlife, a few water features, great views of Buckingham Palace and of Horse Guards Parade. The location is so central it also means you can visit lots of other attractions close by - Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, etc. etc.
