Owner description: Far beneath the majesty and splendor of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protegee Christine Daae is so strong that even her heart cannot resist. The musical opened at Her Majesty's Theatre on 9 October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles, and there have been dozens of productions worldwide since then. Now in its 26th record-breaking year, The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, after more than 10,000 performances. Andrew Lloyd Webber's mesmerizing score along with jaw-dropping scenery and breathtaking special effects, magically combine to bring this tragic love story to life each night.

“Corny, poor, am surprised people are still booking”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

This was awful. So corny, like a really bad pantomime. Was so disappointed. Bad acting, poor singing, flimsy plot.

“No 1 show of all time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

I seen this show nearly 20 years ago and it still bring joy to my hear and a tear to my eye. Fortunately my 2nd experience was London where it all began. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone. The story is that of a true love and the passion for song. My favourite!

“very emotional moment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

I had a really amazing experience at Her Majesty's Theatre. Actually it was my first time to watch the Pantom of the opera musical, but you can not miss it! It was also kindly service which is to be able to rent(a rental fee is £1) a opera-glasses front of your seat.
