High end hotel in an excellent upper scale neighbourhood.
Nearby Shepherd Market with an offer for several restaurants.
Excellent rooms.
No pool in the spa is a drawback.
Lack of attentive staff at the Concierge.
Highly recommended.

We had stayed in this hotel previously and decided to return. The room was nice, clean and what you would expect from Four Seasons. The service was also very good. For both stays we were given a room facing the back of the hotel and overlooking a gambling/nightclub which was open all night long. Unfortunately, this meant noise and lots of outside smoking which made its way into our room since we were on a lower floor.

My wife and I decided to spend three nights in London before catching up to a land tour originating our of Edinburgh. After researching, we decided to stay in the West End. That section of London has more five star resorts than perhaps anywhere else in the world, and after mulling over our many options, we chose the Four Seasons. It was an EXCELLENT decision.

The Four Seasons is in a quiet location right near Hyde Park, and it was a beautiful place to stroll at the end of our days.

Better yet, it's a short walk between the hotel and Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The Eye, and the Thames. Being honest, that walk was a perfect way to begin our trip in London after our long flight from the states. It was terrific to stretch our legs, and to combine this with some of London's premiere sight seeing is a joy indeed.

The hotel's outstanding concierge staff helped us with our plans, and they were ever present when we had questions. They got us reservations at the always difficult Gordon Ramsey restaurant (we struck out on our own), and recommended a fine eatery before our night of theatre.

We also ate at the hotel's signature restaurant. Let's be honest: London isn't known for great food, but this wasn't our experience. We dined well every single night.

We had booked a nice room, and were delighted that the hotel chose to upgrade us to a suite on the second floor, which also gave us a nice outdoor patio area. The room was wonderful, but once again, what would one expect when staying at The Four Seasons? They're always terrific.

I also had a chance to use their spa, and though I've enjoyed better spas at other Four Seasons properties, it was a terrific way to stretch myself out and relax after the grueling trip overseas and the days of sight seeing.

Tea in the hotel is wonderful, and once again, it was just as terrific as I expected. Yes, other hotels in London are more famous for their tea service, but I'd be surprised if they were better.

If I have one minor complaint...

I am a rather early riser, and it was difficult to get a cup of coffee in the morning until later. The hotel offered to get me a cup from room service, but I simply wanted to sit in the lobby and read my paper without any fuss, and I found this difficult. Yes, eventually they put out coffee and rolls in the morning, but I'd been awake for hours before this happened.

Yes, there are great choices of fine hotels in London, and yes, they are all very expensive (it's LONDON), but you will be more than happy with this hotel. I challenge any others to be better than the Four Seasons, both because of their fine amenities and service.

Stay there. You'll be very satisfied.

My wife and I stayed for about the 12th time at this magnificent hotel we have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world but if we want a luxury weekend away in London it's always the four seasons staying in the Mayfair suite was a treat views just fab, our favourite why? Service, location, food, staff, quality of bedding, and the list could go on, using the the Rolls was a real treat to get dropped off at Harrods, I had the pleasure of having a chat with Caroline the assistant Manager and her enthusiasm and professionalism sums the four seasons up attracting such high calibre staff, well done again team fourseasons

This Hotel is in an excellent location on Park Lane. The service was perfect, the sheets were soft, the towels were fluffy, the restaurant was yummy, the front desk manager was charming, the concierges were friendly, the lobby was elegant, the room was spacious, the bathroom was modern, the spa was amazing, the decor was sleek and contemporary, and the hotel car was a Rolls Royce. That is all.

The location is perfect for easily reaching all tourist attractions, from museums, theatres and all the best shopping areas. A wonderful staff who makes certain the guests are well looked after and made to feel like a welcome guest. A well equipped fitness center with stunning views over the city. Could not recommend it more highly.
