“You must visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014 via mobile

We were surprised by this museum. A lot went into this place and you certainty can tell it. You must see the Magna Carta, original works by Beethoven, John Lennon, Mozart etc. - the written things that shaped history and provided enjoyment to people throughout the world. Issac Newton is outside in the courtyard where you can take tea or a snack and relax. A must see.

“Phenomenal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

I originally went thinking that the library would be a bit boring, but they have something there for everyone. They really have so many manuscripts and documents. They even have a Gutenberg Bible. I really suggest a visit -- even if it's just for a few minutes.

“Archives at its best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

Wow, if you want to see some really cool stuff that you've heard about all your life, then this is the place to go. The Magna Carta, works by Shakespeare, original scores by Handel, illuminated manuscripts and items from the monarchy. You will be awed by it all.

“Original manuscripts are stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2014

Whether your passion is old manuscripts or Beatle lyrics scribbled on scratch paper you will find something to treasure. There are audio clips of some of the music you can heat. There are treasures from other parts of the world, too.

The library wasn't well signed when approaching from the tube and I walked past more than once before finding it.

The gift shops are fun, too.
