“good location, excellent value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

We only wanted a 1 night stay and found this hotel at a very reasonable price for bed and breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable with ensuite shower etc. and tea making facilities. Staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a quiet street and 5 minute walk to Kings Cross/Euston/St Pancras with excellent bus, tube and train links. We were able to travel easily all over London. There is wifi too which is useful. We usually stay in larger hotels but would definitely use the Judd again.

The Judd Hotel is located in the heart of Bloomsbury, close to a number of stations. The hotel, though relatively small, is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I stayed in a single room which was small but very adequate for my needs. The addition of free Wi-Fi was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern with a great shower. I found the staff to be incredibly friendly and efficient.
As the hotel has no working lift I would recommend that anyone with small children or with walking difficulties should ask for a room on the lower floors. I would also ask for a room facing front. There is a really nice park located right outside the hotel. Even though the hotel is located right in the heart of London it's very quiet. I left the window open all night and didn't hear a thing.
Breakfast is very good. When you consider most hotels on various booking sites quote you room only it was great to get a hotel where breakfast is automatically included. There is a very good range of food and the service is very good.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Judd hotel from 13th to 16th August whilst visiting my son who lives in London. The Judd is perfectly placed for ease of access to Euston and Kingscross stations being about a 7 min walk away! Lovely gardens/tennis courts facing the hotel which travellers can use and lots of lovely little shops/cafes nearby. Easy to get to just about any London attraction from the Judd! I stayed here as a solo traveller and the room was lovely and clean, modern and overlooking a park/gardens. I felt safe walking back to the hotel from the station at night, the area was quiet during the night even though it was quite near to Euston Road. The staff were very helpful and friendly and plenty of choice for breakfast, with cereals, museli, full English, toast/jam fruit juice. I would definately stay here again when visiting London.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the gardens/tennis courts are lovely!

We enjoyed our stay at the Judd Hotel very much. It was located in a very nice and friendly area with pubs and small shops close by. The hotel was situated with busses, the tube and train just a few minutes away.
The staff was friendly and serviceminded. We felt welcome, and will without any doubt book a room in this hotel next time we visit London.

Booked for 4 nights for olimpic games 8 months ago, hoping to have the best rate garanteed. One month before the departure I controlled the Judd web site and I found the same room at 100 euro per day less than my booking. Contacted the hotel for an explanation, no replay from the management. Very disappointed!

Stayed for one night during the Olympics. Hotel ideally located between Euston and King's Cross and easy for my daughter and I to walk to. We walked back from St Pancras just before midnight and felt quite safe on the short walk.
Our room on the lower ground floor was clean and big enough for a one night stay. The shower was good and the beds comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful, we left our bags there the next day and returned to pick them up on our way back to Euston.
The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.
All in all we had a great stay, the streets round about looked spotless, maybe for the Olympics or maybe they always are?
