Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Petrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Petrus - now located on Knightsbridge's Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Petrus's beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Petrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Petrus to make it all perfect.

“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014 NEW

Great service and nice setting. The food was nice but expected bigger flavours and portions slightly small. The chicken oysters were lovely and the crab was good. Nice experience all round

“Amazing dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014 NEW via mobile

We've been to Petrus a number of times before, so we were really looking forward to our dinner on Friday, and we were not disappointed. The food is consistently excellent, service flawless and for the level of cooking, prices are very reasonable. My starter of scallops with sweet corn and chicken wings was an amazing combination of texture and taste, but was nothing compared to my mutton main!!! Simply the best lamb I've ever had. To finish, it had to be the spectacular chocolate sphere.. A bit of theatre to end the meal. The bill, covering both our three courses, an apperatif and an excellent bottle of South African Syrah was £300... I'd have paid more!

“Brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014 NEW

Managed to get a late cancellation and arrived just in time. Service was fantastic, food incredible, and wine sensational. This was more a dining experience than simply just a meal. Without exaggeration the best all round, most enjoyable restaurant visit.

“Elegant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2014 NEW

A very elegant restaurant, with equally fine service, perfect for a special occasion. We had the tasting menu of six courses, with the "secrets" wine pairing, each course a delicious experience. We didn't know what to expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, as we've only seen his personality on TV. This restaurant gets 5 stars from us. Excellent!
