I went to Petrus with my work colleagues, we had the Chefs table and took the option to have wine pairing at an extra cost of £60 per head - and worth every penny.
We had champagne and canapes to start upstars in the Restaurant lounge, admiring the amazing glass wine rack that seems to hold the ceiling up. The waiting staff were the most attentive and friendly people we could have met and nothing was too much for them.
When we were ready, we headed downstairs into the Kitchen and were greeted by the Head Chef, who infroduced all of his team and gave us a tour of the kitchen - was full of weird and wonderful produce and spotlessly clean and like a military operation, all of the staff were friendly and immaculately dressed.
The food was divine, many dishes were things we had never tried before so was a real experience.
We even got to have a go at making a chocolate bomb dessert in the kitchen which was not only fun, but gave us an idea of what the kitchen staff do every day and with care and attention to detail to the slightest little millicentimetre.
You absolutely have to try this out, even if you only try it once in your lifetime - Do it, you really wont regret it.
