“Great stay but a very 'international' hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

On arrival the front desk staff were polite and efficient. We had a studio room which was nice but on reflection the living room area was a little wasted. Bath and shower were good. Lights a little confusing but soon figured them out!

The location of the hotel is spot on and has a great view of Big Ben. The hotel itself is smart however extremely big with a huge amount going on all the time. It means that you dont really get a personable feel about it. The best way I can explain it as is 'very vegas'. Nothing too negative just probably not quite to our taste.

The pool area had potential but far too small for the number of guests in the hotel.

Bar area was lively but again once we returned after dinner it was a little 'butlins' esq with the live music.

Breakfast was when we realised just how many people were staying in the hotel. very dis organised and over crowded. a good selection of food but not cooked brilliantly. Service was poor as we never even got offered a tea or coffee!

In general it was a pleasent stay but apart from the great location there was nothing extraordinary about this hotel.

Thank you for your feedback BenandEmo, happy to note you enjoyed our location but sorry our hotel wasn’t entirely to your liking.

I continue to focus on the breakfast experience of all our guests. Another great option for breakfast is our Executive Lounge package, £39 per room per night (2 sharing), you can enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés in the evening with this package, it’s great value for money.

I hope we may be of service to you once again in the near future.

Excellent Business Hotel on the southbank with spectacular views at the Parliament and Big Ben. Friendly staff, very nice rooms with very good internet. Nice minibar. Nice bar, good service even during the "rush hour". Breakfast ok however very crowded and poor coffe quality. However, in general this hotel deserves a 4 and a hlaf star rating

Is is a great hotel and really central. Right across the bridge is Westminster and Big Ben and the London Eye is a few minutes walk. The rooms are spotlessly clean and really well thought out with everything you need including an iron. The hotel even arranged a complimentary 18th birthday cake to help my daughter celebrate her birthday and left it in our room. It ,are her birthday weekend even more special. Breakfast is brought to the room at no extra charge if you get the bed and breakfast package. Parking close by at £20 for 24 hours which is great for London. Well worth staying here.

With a business conference coming up at this hotel in the near future, I decided to book it for my wife's birthday weekend (after all, if work think it fits the bill!...) We were certainly not disappointed... it was fantastic!

After being impressed by the huge white marble-floored lobby, the second thing that hits you is the view when you turn around!... looking right down Westminster Bridge to Big Ben... pretty priceless location.

From the room through to the cocktail lounge to the sushi bar to the leisure facilities, this hotel is bang up to date with style and facilities. It has a real buzz and warmth which many hotels lack. Even David Hasselhoff was there (according to a taxi driver, he stays there a lot!)

If you're looking for somewhere a bit special, modern and stylish, with great views and only a short walk across the bridge to where it's all happening, then this hotel has it all!

Room Tip: Book direct with the hotel!

From the moment we checked in (Petra), the service has been fantastic, our room spotless and atmosphere at the hotel excellent for a London location. We visit London often and have not found a better place to stay. Do not hesitate to book. Breakfast was wonderful and even though very busy served in a very quick professional manner - I can't recall the last time you did not have to que for it, most times we leave and head out for food and it was all great quality and HOT!! We have one more night to stay and looking forward to visiting the pool and breakfast again tomorrow. The best bit if you wish to dine in your room the value is very and no extra charge for breakfast in bed!!! Enjoy without hesitation ....

Hotel is a real gem. Very luxurious and funky. We stayed in room 791 which had a direct view of the Houses of Parliament. Very spacious and modern rooms with attention to detail. Especially liked the little kitchenette with fridge, microwave and fully stocked glasses, crockery and utensils. Very nice pool, and the gym is open 24 hours per day. Breakfast choice excellent. All in all good value for money, brilliant central location, staff very friendly and helpful. Will certainly go back again. Could not fault it at all.

Room Tip: Higher floors at the front have a fab view over the South Bank

Stayed here 3 times in the past few weeks, and shall return again next week. Back in London for work travels, of course. Who visits a a city so many times for a holiday. However, if I shall be in London for pleasure, I'll definitely be choosing this hotel.

Park Plaza Westminister Bridge is conveniently located opposite Big Ben and walking distance to the underground tube. Concierge is your first point of contact and at all times, they have been very welcoming, helpful and have excellent knowledge of the city. Check in was very smooth and flawless and there are 6 lifts in operation. I hate waiting for the elevator and I never had to wait too long for the lifts. The rooms itself are very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms are decent sized. Oh, remember to close your curtains as guests from the other can have a clear view of you in your room. Housekeeping is very efficient and polite. I've always have a DND sign and they kindly slip a note under the door should I require cleaning or replenishing of amenities.

The breakfast downstairs is magnificent. The restaurant staff will cater for all your needs. I always ask for eggs benedict, included with the breakfast charge and espresso coffee is also included with no extra charge.

One thing I would like to point out is, I would sometimes sleep during the day (jet lag) and housekeepers can get quite noisy whilst cleaning rooms nearby.

This hotel has always met my expectations and I am certain they will continue to provide an excellent experience for travellers.

Room Tip: Its a bit of a maze trying to find your room. Somewhere close to the lifts will make it easier to ge...
