“But flawed by booking experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

Spamalot with Joe Pasquale and Bonnie Langford et al was very good and if you only vaguely liked Python, it's a must.
Bit upset at the booking process however. We went to theatre at 10 in the morning and told the matinee performance was" very busy.". WE, as usual for us, asked for "cheap seats with a good view" and were offered £64.50 ones, we declined, and then offered 2nd row upper circle seats for £24.50.
When we arrived, the theatre was approximately 3/4 full and the only person in the front row told us he had bought his ticket a 1/2 hour ago for only £10! To add to the problem, there was limited view from our seats.
Shame that I have spent 2 paragraphs complaining about a good show that I've only written 2 lines about.
Enjoy the show - Beware the Box Office!

“SPAMALOT - You have got to see this....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

A joyous experience from start to finish. This is an updated and amended version of "The Holy Grail" with Joe Pasquale, Bonnie Langford and a talented troupe of very tuneful actors and singers. This is a proper laugh out loud production, the songs, comic timing and humour are brilliant. Joe Pasquale is fabulous, occasionally he does ad libs, which works well. Bonnie Langford has an amazing voice, one sometimes forget what a great actress and singer she is, full of energy. If you love Monty Python this is the musical for you. Join in and always look on the bright side of life, which you will once you have seen this.

“Spamalot at Playhouse Theatre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

Absolutely fabulous show. Loved the intimate atmosphere of the theatre. We were in the stalls only 3rd row back and felt like we were part of the show. Took my 10 year old son and was a bit worried but he laughed all the way through and understood it all.

We had an absolute blast and I would definitely go again. Highly recommended to everyone and anyone although I don't think that foreigners would understand the humour quite so much. I laughed till I cried as did some of the performers!! If you only get to see one show in London then this is the one to see :-)

“Spamelot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

It is a very cozy theatre. We bought our tickets at TKTS, which was great. The theatre wasn't easy to find since we got lost on Trafalger square. But once we got inside, everything went very smooth, people were very nice and our seats were great.

“a must see show and great theatre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

Went to see Spamalot last night with Joe Pasquale as King Arthur and Carley Stenson as The Lady of The Lake - brilliant show - not laughed so much for ages! I'm not generally a big fan of Joe's, but I have to say he's perfect for this - very funny as libs (especially one about feeding an otter in his pants). The cast seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were, which was lovely. As for the theatre, we had seats in the stalls - plenty of room and a great view of the stage. Theatre is small but beautiful. We got this show through a deal which included a night's stay at the Travelodge in Southwark for around £70 each total price - great value!
