It was recommended by a friend who lives in London for about seven months by the time i arrived.
We started with some Arabian traditional appetizers (homos and motabel) and some green salad, with the fresh bread, and ordered grilled fish and mixed grilled meat and chicken.
The name masgouf (pronounced Maskoof) is a grilled fish meal cocked the Iraqi way, it is really delicious, kebab was fresh and most delicious.
After that came the Iraqi tea and a dish of dates and baklava, it was a mind blowing experience.
The waiters and waitresses were professional, yes they don't smile much but if you take the initiative they will respond well, but the food was amazing.
In a total of 7 visits i didn't counter a single thing to complain about (except one time which the order took longer than it should be but i was told that they were preparing a huge takeaway order, which was the case).
One thing i regret about this place, once i tasted there food, i didn't have the courage to try another restaurants (which wasn't my plan).
Bottom line, if you want some decent Arabian food in London, look no further.
PS: i didn't try other Arabian restaurants in London, but I've been to a lot of them back home (more than i can count actually), and i can tell you for sure this one is excellent.
