“Fabulous hotel, great location and friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2014

Location: Right in the heart of Soho and an easy walk to Picadilly, shopping in Regent Street or Oxford Street and Chinatown

What an absolutely fabulous hotel this is. Beautifully converted from a Georgian townhouse, it offers a fantastic welcome from the staff, a great vibe, lots of free goodies including magazines, cosmetics, well everything really - even condoms! We stayed just one night in a "tiny" room which still had a full size, very comfortable bed. Maybe if you were there longer you'd want one of the larger room but for us it was perfect. Location in the heart of Soho is great for wandering around, fantastic choice of restaurants nearby and if breakfast was anything to go by, the restaurant here would be worth investigating. The hotel is even reasonably priced by London standards. I just can't recommend this hotel enough - you need to try it as soon as you can.

Room Tip: If you're staying more than a night look to get at least a small room.

I had an amazing room (#12). Four-poster bed and large bathroom with roll-top bath and mega-powerful shower.

Roberts radio playing ClassicFM when I walked into my room. Nice touch. Mini bar and snacks. Quality toiletries. Large plasma.

Will definitely use again. Brill.

If you want the ultimate boutique hotel experience in London, try the DST. The location is perfect if you have theatre tickets as many are located within a few blocks of the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat right across the street and all around.
We booked a 'small' room which by 'heart of London' standards was huge! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding divine...best pillows I have ever slept on. The bathroom is huge with an enormous walk-in shower and 6 different Cowshed products to choose from for your daily wake-up (which is a great way to start your day given the powerful rainfall shower-head suspended from the ceiling). The heated bathroom floors are a nice little extra.
For your morning coffee, choose between making your own in-room French-press (ground coffee is replenished each day as are the homemade cookies) or going down to the sitting room off the lobby for a Nespresso.
The staff could not be better and the hotel has not forgotten a single detail as to what makes a delightful boutique hotel experience in the heart of London.
It was an amazing experience.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel and it was as quiet as could be.

If you get the chance to stay here then you should. Huge rooms by London standards and utterly luxurious. Lots of fantastic little touches everywhere. Staff are always very helpful. Can be a little noisy but you are right in the heart of Soho so not unexpected. Wish they would open up a door between the hotel lobby and restaurant...

I had often passed Dean Street Townhouse and wondered what it would be like. Finally made it there with my husband and experienced what all the fuss is about! The food was nothing short of amazing and the service was 5*. We will definitely back.

Tiny but comfy and great location. Rooms are nicely furnished and top marks for the extras in the bathroom,, they thing of everything! Breakfast next door is always a big win.
The only downer for us now is they've stopped the valet parking, but China town offers a decent multi story.

Room Tip: Worth trading up for a bigger room!

Nice, tiny Soho House hotel. Great central location. Good vibe. Lots of Cowshed amenities. Great showers.

I had a bigger room which was lovely. Sadly, my room was to the street and very noisy at night. Turned on Classic FM to sleep.

The hallways are a bit dark, the rooms are very bright and very Soho House though.
