“Quite nice for younger people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

We enjoyed a weekend with 8 persons and had to find a place near Victoria St.

This is located pretty near places, has a view to Battersea power plant & Thames, has its own pub and restaurant downstairs and in general, is pretty decent.

As it is not a hotel but hostel, toilets are showers are what they are, and this is not for the ones who have to have luxury in their holiday. But the rest, I've seen worse places with higher prices in London.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable, and my back is still hurting a day later. The location is about 15m from the nearest train station, and there isn't anything nearby (ie grocery store, chemist, shops). Rooms are up long staircases, which wouldn't suit everyone. Free breakfast is good in theory but they ran out of food and were slow to restock it, and one tiny toaster was being shared by the whole hostel. The wifi was patchy and not included beyond 30m. Bathrooms were not particularly clean and were not very private.
On the plus side- the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about things to do in London.

This is the best hostel I have stayed in. The staff is so helpful and friendly (great for me a young novice traveller). The breakfast was awesome and prepared in front of you-omelettes, pancakes, and smoothies! Also located directly on a bus route to the main sites in the city. located in a very nice area as well.

This hostel aims to please, and does it well. It's the little things like free soft drink and earplugs that make a big impact!

The room was clean.

A delicious breakfast including made-to-order omelettes. You'd think you were staying in a luxury hotel instead of a hostel!

There is no common area other than the bar, which I didn't like too much.

9 of us girls booked the 10 bed hostel room for a friend's 30th birthday. Having never stayed in a hostel, I did not know what to expect. As half of us were coming from Devon and half from Wales, we arrived a different times. The staff were very helpful considering we were not the ones who arrived first but it wasn't any of us whose name the room was in. Free soft drinks were a bonus! It was also useful they had somewhere for us to store your bags. Considering this is Chelsea, we were expecting extortionate drinks but £2.50 for vodka red bulls were a a bargain. We stayed on the Friday night where they had an opeen mic night, they had some great acts. The staff helped us with calling a taxi which was great. Overall a great stay

It's a nice enough hostel. I found the staff friendly, good atmosphere in the bar, and rooms were decent. Location wise it's a little bit of a walk to the tube and a little further out than some of the other hostels. The breakfast was good, and I like the fact they give you free drinks in the day. Overall, it's still a great place to stay.
