“Good Food Noisy atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

We went for dinner a group of four, the food was excellent a delicious French food without the heavy sauces, we ordered a number of dishes which we shared among ourselves they were all excellent specially the fish. Desserts were excellent and relatively speaking light. The only negative point it was noisy so it was difficult to carry a conversation without having to speak loud and increase the noisiness atmosphere. The last negative point in my opinion you cannot decide to go there in the same day or the next you need to book few days in advance.

“Simple, tasty French food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013 via mobile

I like la petite Maison because the food is excellent, and compared to many other French places in London it's not a fancy pretentious restaurant. The recipes are basic (gratin dauphinois, sauce bearnaise- this is no fusion food) but excellent, almost perfect. The waiters are friendly. The sommelier recommended a great wine.

“Next time I will go there for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

Have been here twice for lunch - and the atmosphere with people rushing around and on a sunday lunch - kids roaming around screaming - is not the best for enjoying the very good food that is served here. The restaurant is a bit to filled with tables - a bit difficult to walk around in.
But the main thing. Food. Delicious.
Started with a burrata with cherytomatoes. Delicious!! Next vealchop with a potatogratin. So very very good. Figs for dessert.
Service is good but staff are really really stressed. I do think the restaurant could win on having a few tables less so the staff doesnt have to run around sweating

“Lovely place, great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

this would be my first visit to la petit maison in london but not my first to la petit maison.

As usual, the food is fresh, tasty, filling and above all you enjoy an experience of unpretencious dinning.

we were lucky as white truffle was in season and they had couple of dishes that offered that.

it was my first time for my kids to experience petit mason, and they had a blast as well. in summary this place is a place were you would like to enjoy with a group of friends or family, share everything, enjoy every dish and have fun.
