We are family of 5 from Moscow. We were recommended by some friends
to take a tour with Ray Ruddick. Because we are not native English speakers
and because we were on a budget we considered to take a bus tour around
London and to go to see Oxford (or something else by our selfs) . However
when we calculated the price for 5 people it was still expensive to go
somewhere with train and not as comfortable as with private guide. So we
took the friends advice and went to the tour with Ray. It was a Great
Tour!!!! For one day we saw as much as we would ever see on our own in
several days. Ray took us around London for another day too. He did history
for everybody but one of the family wanted to see some of the London
architekture and I think we enjoyed that almost as much as the history and
the normal sightseeing.
Our children fell in love with our guide - he was so nice with children
even they only learn English in school they still understood him and had
some good English practice also. During our jorney he gave them different
quizzes and good stories to explaIin some of the historical knowledge he
shared with us. It was interesting not only for our children but also for
us.
Ray took us to a very special old pub which was a new experince for us. It
was a very old place in Oxfordshire , over 500 years old but with lot of
atmospheer.
To finish I will say that we enjoyed every minute to be on our tours with
Ray and we recomend him very highly.
