Owner description: All aboard the ‘orrible omnibus for a ride around the dark side of London. The Ghost Bus Tours’ classic Routemaster has been redesigned to give passengers London’s first ‘Fright Bus’ service. On-board actors and technical trickery combine to create the scariest tour in town. A creepy conductor provides the commentary for this sinister sightseeing show, revealing haunted places, unmarked burial grounds and the skeletons in the capital’s cupboard.

“Delightfully Silly Fun With A Guaranteed Shock Per Passenger”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

Ideal for an alternative romantic date or a fun family trip, whether you are visiting from abroad or a tourist in your own town (like us). A mix of theatre on wheels with plenty of gory history thrown in. Even I learned a few things and there were enough giggles to go round. If it can keep a 12 year old boy happy in this day and age then they must be doing something right. I loved the idea of the bombing around town in an old black double decker bus with velvety shades and old fashioned lamps. If spotted, one would certainly think " That looks good, I wish I was on board." Its well designed inside, well organised and the staff were great. I can't say more or it would spoil the surprises. Perfect late night treat and I am very hard to please. Thanks a lot.

“Very nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

We prebooked our tour at a touringcompany. We decided to see London by bicycle (which you can rent and drop off at all kinds of docking stations across town). When we arrived to the bus there was no space left for our bikes at the docking station, so the bus waited for us untill we had returned our bikes. They were very friendly and helpfull and we are so thankfull they waited for us! They even suggested we took the bikes on board of the bus at one point.

The tour itself is real fun. It's not the best or most scary ghost tour I've ever been on, but it has nice theatrics and gives you loads of information on the gruesome past of London. The tourguide was very good and funny. It's a great way of seeing London by night, especially when you've seen most of the sights by day. I don't know if it's suitable for very young children, but then again, what ghost tour is?

The conductor tried to ride a bicycle once- it didn't last long when the bus came careering down the road and well you know....

“Really funny and entertaining!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

My girlfriend and I loved this tour! It was extra awesome being able to see all the sights from the bus without having to be out in the cold.
We weren't expecting to be scared, and it isn't very scary, though the staff/actors do keep you looking around and feeling wary (in a fun way!)
There is enough history and facts too, a great way to do a sightseeing tour with a fun twist. Highly recommended for a different way to see the big sights.
It could be a little cheaper, as I felt like giving the staff a good tip but we didn't as the ticket price feels enough to include it.

We like to think of ourselves as a couples paradise, although with all the annoying ghosts and dearly departed that may not be entirely accurate.

“Fantastic Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

The bus used is an old London bus painted black and kitted out with drapes and lamps. The staff onboard are highly entertaining and give you stories about the tour on your way around, it lasts for about and hour and a half and is well worth going on.
