“Best B&B I've been to”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

I stayed for 4 nights in march at Wynchgate. Breakfast was gorgeous especially the mushroom omelette and was never left hungry. Conveniently located near to the station. Quiet road and was peaceful. Rooms were spotless and the little extras made it special like the fruit, mints and cookies. I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting London. Thank you for great experience Sabiya, you are very hospitable and kind.

We booked this B&B due to it's location for the area of London we wanted to visit and it was ideal. We parked the car on the drive and there it stayed, you have no need for a vehicle as public transport is so good.

Turn right out of the drive and it's just a 10 min walk to Southgate which has lots of shops, bars and eating places. The tube runs to London or you can take the bus and admire the local scene on the way. Catch the 121 to Wood Green and then the 29 which takes you all the way to Traflagar Square. Turn right out of the drive and it's a 15 min walk to Winchmoor Hill rail station which runs into Moorgate for St Pauls/Guildhall etc.

We were in the garden room of the B&B, it was a nice size and well decorated, the ensuite shower room was small but perfectly OK for a few nights.

My wife dropped some items from her make up bag on the floor, much searching under the bed and behind various pieces of furniture revealed the missing items - but did not unearth one piece of stray hair or dust. This is quite simply the cleanest place we have ever been to, just outstanding.

Breakfast is another plus, it's continental which to be honest doesn't appeal - I do like a good unhealthy fry up!, However the quailty and quantity is beyond anything I have ever witnessed and sets you up for the rest of the day, absolute top quality.

Without a doubt a B&B that well deserves all it's good reviews.

Room Tip: The garden room has a ensuite shower room, the other rooms have a private bath but it is not ensuite...

Stayed two nights. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The location is good, a short walk from the Underground. There is a high street with many resturants for an evening meal. There is also a large park within a few hundred yards with a lake. Will visit again later in the year.

We just returned from a lovely stay at this B & B. The rooms were spotless with comfortable beds and linens. We were provided with everything we needed to make tea or coffee in our room, as well as lots of yummy treats including fruit, cookies and pastries. On top of this we were served a wonderful hot breakfast each morning, which included all the goodies of a continental breakfast, and a freshly prepared entree such as an omelet, egg or french toast. Sabiya was welcoming and happy to accomodate our schedule. Although located in a busy London suburb, the neighborhood was peaceful and very quiet at night, without the sound of traffic, sirens, etc. This and the lovely back garden give the feeling of the country but with the convenience of being close to the city and within walking distance of the tube. Thank you, Mark and Sabiya, for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to staying with you again when we are lucky enough to return.

Excellent accommodation. Mark and Sabiya made me feel very welcome. You'll certainly not be hungry or thirsty. Clean, comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was simply overwhelming! My expectations were exceeded because Sabiya always goes the extra mile.
