“Good for business stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

Stayed here on business and was perfectly fine. Small rooms but clean and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached wasn't great though, if this was improved I would rate 5*
quite good location also

Dear Darneedham,

We were delighted to have you stay with us and appreciate your feedback regarding our hotel facilities being most suitable for a business stay.

I was upset to learn of your disappointment regarding the quality of our restaurant and would be interested to find out further information regarding this so will send you a message seperately and hopefully we will be in a position to allay any concerns on a future return visit.

We look forward to having you back with us again.

Yours sincerely,

My girlfriend booked this hotel, as we were in London Friday night to go to Ronnie Scott's.
The location wasn't great for where we were going, but that is our fault, not the hotel.
Check in was smooth and pleasant, and we were asked whether we wanted our bags taken up, which as we were travelling light, we declined.
The room was very impressive and a food size, and the bathroom really nice.
We didn't get back to the hotel till nearly two in the morning, but had a great nights sleep, and woke refreshed in the morning.
Pleasant staff at check out, so would recommend this hotel for a stress free visit.

The staff at the Apex London Wall are nothing short of fantastic.

When my wife and I arrived for a weekend in early October, she was not feeling well. The staff recognized this and upgraded us to a larger room so she would have more space in which to get more comfortable. They remembered and even checked on her throughout the weekend.

The room was very large and very comfortable.

The only negative for us was the extremely loud bar downstairs. It appears to be a popular after-work place with the financial types in the area (Blackrock is across the street). The music was loud, but the food was very good.

We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Dear gemanke2,

We were delighted to have welcomed you and your wife to the hotel and are very pleased that the offer of an upgrade was of some assistance in ensuring that her time with us was made more comfortable, particularly given how she was feeling when you checked in.

Thank you for your comments regarding our lively Off the Wall Bar. It is indeed a particularly popular venue for after work drinks with a number of corporate clients in the area regularly visiting. This does make it challenging to control from a noise viewpoint, but would certainly like to assure that we will revisit our music levels for the early to late evening so as to ensure it is not contributing to any further unnecessary buoyancy.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us and other reviewers and we look forward to having you stay with us again soon.

Yours sincerely,

Simon Davis

The Apex London Wall is a stylish hotel that offers excellent value in the City. It's conveniently located if you're traveling on business, with several large office buildings within easy walking distance and close to multiple tube stations as well. The rooms are decent-sized for Europe and have a chic modern design, as does the hotel overall. The bathroom in particular was quite spacious, with separate shower and tub. The linens are very nice and the bed was very comfortable, with clean, cozy bedding. Service at the hotel was at par with other hotels of its type. The gym is also quite decent for a small hotel in Europe: small, but clean and well-lit with enough cardio machines. Given the cost of hotels in London generally, the Apex London Wall really offers a lot for the price. I will certainly stay there on my next business trip to London.

Dear CameronK,

It is very nice to see that you enjoyed your first visit to us and that as a result you will be returning when next on business in London. Our location as you correctly alluded too is indeed both great for the business trip as well as a weekend treat getaway with the comfort of a well connected tube network on our doorstep including Bank, Moorgate and Liverpool Street tube system only a short walk away.

We look forward to seeing you on your next trip to the city and please do remember to contact us directly should you require assistance when booking.

Yours sincerely,

After our last visit in the spring 2012 we had to try the Apex London Wall Hotel again - and we just have to say that this is, if they keep up the good service, our new place to stay in London.
We visit London on a regular basis, and we like to know that everything works, is clean and there wont be any problems. We've tried several hotels in London, but compared to the price, this is very good value. The hotel has all the amenities that we need, and is situated so that we quick can get in and out of London and around. We will surely be back again.

Dear freqtravAarhus,

It was a pleasure to have you back with us this year and are very pleased that we continue to be your preferred accommodation choice in London. We appreciate that three of the key areas our customers are benchmarking their stay against are a clean product, where everything is working and at a value for money price point. It is good to hear that our delivery in these targets is consistently exceeding your expectations during your return visits.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback your experiences and we look forward in the hope of welcoming you back once again in the near future.

Yours sincerely,

This hotel delivered everything we could need from start to finish.
We were greeted warmly by the friendly reception team and shown to our room which was lovely! It was large, with a seperate living space and tastefully decorated throughout. The bathroom was also very nice with a huge stand alone bath and spacious walk in shower. The complimentary box of pringles and jelly beans were appreciated and the toiletiries were of a good quality.
We had food and cocktails downstairs which were also perfect.
There is nothing about this hotel that I did not like and the Apex London Wall will be top of the list for future visits to London.

The hotel has a bar/ restaurant that non-residents use so there is some life which is more that can be said for some. The room was excellent with big tv, strong wifi signal, proper bathroom with bath and separate shower and room has a very comfy bed. Best of all its 100 yards from my companies London office location.
