We went for our usual Sunday brunch on a cold day when the place was busy although not completely full.
We were seated and able to give the order promptly to our friendly waiter but there was a long wait before our drinks arrived and, despite another request, they arrived with the food which we had spotted getting cold on the counter while they sorted the drinks. Hmmmm
Our eggs Benedict were OK but the sauce was a bit bland (lacking salt perhaps?) and we forgot how doughy English Muffins are as our Cafe back home serves them on toast.
The granary toast was nice and, after a request for extra strength, the tea is now much improved, I am pleased to report.
I suspect the problem was with the increased numbers over their regular Sunday custom but I have been there when it has been busy before and don't recall similar issues.
