“Pleasant place for afternoon tea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012 via mobile

I had the full afternoon tea bit without the sparkling wine. At £26 it's not cheap but it's very pleasant. The only criticism is that the raspberry topped chocolate cupcake was far too sweet. Everything was very fresh and well presented. The tea was marred by an irritating loud American on the end of our shared table. They should get rid of six seater tables or at least the practice of putting two couples at either end. For the price you pay you need a little peace & quiet in which to enjoy your afternoon tea.

“Lovely food, Top old fashoned service yet not stuffy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012

We had a lovely lunch very pleasant menu, simple yet brilliantly executed. Very good service and reasonable prices for the heart of London. Home made lemonade was lovely and the food was all top quality as I guess you would expect. we paid £50 for the two of us for an excellent main course and a few drinks. Was worth every penny great for a special occasion.

“Great for Gluten Free! Great for everyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2012

We recently spent some time in London and were recommended to have an Afternoon Tea at The Gallery. The reason is one of our adult children has Celiac Disease and getting gluten-free food can be a challenge. Not at The Gallery! The gluten-free tea she was served was just wonderful! The look of delight on her face to have a choice of sandwiches, 2 scones (one with rasin and one plain) and a couple of cakes was wonderful to see. We went twice just for this experience. The staff are very professional and well trained. Reservations are required so plan ahead.
