“Good little Indian place in South Ken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2012

This Indian restaurant is only one block away from the Natural History Museum and Victoria & Albert museum, and is good value for those who like Indian cuisine. Located halfway between the museums and the South Kensington tube stop. The papadums with various sauces are a nice way to start a meal, and the main courses are also tasty (I liked the Palak Paneer). Meals and drinks are cheap and cheerful (but cost a bit more than what you'd pay for takeaway).

“Excellent Indian”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2012 via mobile

Kwality was a pleasant surprise - coaxed my husband here as he has only ever experienced bad Indian. Being my first time in London - Capitol of great Indian food - I couldn't not experience a good Indian meal.
The manager and waitperson were extremely attentive and offered a Thali which was ideal. This was not simply 'Indian' but Indian cuisine!
Gorgeous food - beautiful presentation. Enjoyed the Indian beer on offer also. Cobra and the lighter Honeysuckle - very nice. Would have been nice to have more choice of wine by the glass - however the House wine was reasonable.
Only thing I would like is some ambient Indian music to enhance the mood - apparently the sound system was taken in a break in. Would be a plus if this was quickly replaced.

“Great for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2011

Visiting London, we had a (buffet) lunch here, which we found very good. Albeit lacking details on the wine list, I am quite confident their selection of wines is good too. Perhaps because the restaurant is close to the French Institute... We had a Côtes du Rhône 2009 (can't remember which one exactly, but it obtained a gold medal at "Concours des Vins à Orange 2010").
The restaurant was clean and the buffet well-presented. The overall atmosphere was tranquil and quite enjoyable. As in many Indian restaurants, the owner keeps a close eye on the proceedings.

“Near Albert and Victoria museum”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2010

Tired and hungry after a visit at the Albert and Victoria museum? Just in front of the museum this small Indian restaurant offers a daily lunch buffet. It is an all you can eat buffet for 9£. There is no wide choice. Just two or three main dishes, rice and two or three vegetables but in a nice and comfortable small dining room with three acquariums which will help you entertain your children. Good food at a reasonable price for a quick lunch.
