“Ideal for a Friday night with friends”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Visited on a Friday night and the restaurant was packed upstairs and downstairs. Make sure you book! As a party of 8 we had one of the side tables which was ideal. Lots of large groups were dining, which was a good sign.

Good range of drinks available, we opted for the delicious mai tai cocktail.

The pizzas are great- much more variety than typical fare and really tasty too. I had the 'Cairo' which was divine. Not sure what difference the thin crust made at an extra £1.25.

The food came quickly despite it being busy, presumably because everyone was having pizzas across the restaurant. Service was ok, not the best because he was very busy but he was friendly when we did grab attention.

The location is ideal too- in the heart of Covent Garden with a load of places to go afterwards.

Definitely one to try!

“Used to be the best pizza anywhere”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

But they changed their menu.
The best pizzas were no longer on offer, they were the Canberra and the New York.
I stopped going. A while after that they sent out an email saying they had bought back the original Canberra pizza, I went back to try it. No they hadn't, the offering was very different to the old version and no where near as good.
(the same goes for the New York)

“Service Rushed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

The Pizzas here are very interesting and toppings are somewhat different from the norm (eg roast potato with rosemary). Having said that, the base is bland and the thin base is extra £!I booked this through the tastecard app to get 50% off. Despite placing a card on our table saying Tastecard they still tried to charge the full price (an extra £23) which lost them their service charge. Service was good but we always had the impression that the motivation was go get us served and out. Value is good if you get a deal but don't think about paying full price.

“Average, but good with a discount card”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Long wait for a pre booked table which is never great, I used a tastecard promotion to get 50% off which made it ok value, wouldn't of been happy to pay full price and £1 for a very small pot of Mayo????
