My lovely girlfriend brought me here for my birthday knowing that I am really into my steaks as is she. Having been to the Hawksmoor not so long ago and having been a little disappointed, we held our breath and hoped for a better experience. We were not disappointed. The waiter (Anthony I think his name was) was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, welcoming, genuine, efficient and he put in a sterling rendition of happy birthday when it came to that embarrassing part of the night. The food was equally excellent. We opted to not have starters and dived straight into the main. I had the porterhouse with béarnaise and my girlfriend the fillet. We then shared a lobster tail and a selection of veg. In a nutshell I couldn't fault anything. That's actually doesn't do it justice. It was fantastic. The desserts were equally delicious. The night was topped off with a fantastic tour of he kitchen with the young Canadian head chef. 10 out of 10 fit food, service and ambience.
