“Arresting culinary experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013 via mobile

Delicious Japanese food; the sashimi is sublime, the tempura vegetables and katsu dishes are also amazing. And who knew that egg fried rice could taste do good?

“Fabulous everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We have lived in the area for nearly 25 years, I don't know when it opened but somehow we have managed to not go

Well, what a treat. We had soft shell crab (2 big ones very crisp) then Octopus balls, not such a hit with us and then a mixed seafood. Followed by 7 pieces of sushi and then 2 tepanyaki and one rice - we over-ordered!!

Together with 2 pots of tea, one beer and 3 glasses of wine it was £85 including service which considering our piggery was great. We could have had just one tepanyaki,

Highly recommended if you like Japanese food.

“Excellent”

Very good japanese food, great service and the food is always fresh, tasty and great looking. Their lunch deals are well priced. The billing may take time though.

“Finally, great Japanese food outside of London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

I thought that it was impossible to find good sushi, sashimi and other Japanese fare in Surrey - Hashi has solved that problem. In the most unassuming location in a suburban street of Raynes Park is this have of Japanese food. The menu options of sushi, tempura and sashimi was extensive, the choice delightfully difficult but with pure quality of taste and presentation. This will not go down as the cheapest Japanese restaurant in England, but it is certainly one of the best.
