“Bland and expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

M & S do more flavour in their curry. Overpriced. Find an authentic Indian restaurant and you'll have better food for less

“good but expensive”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

nice healthy food but quite expensive. Low fat but still tasty. Service very confusing with too many waiters involved at the same table. For instance it took 30 min before we got the drinks and the popadums were finished before we got the drinks.

Improve and focus more on the service and this would be a 4

“Healthy indian cuisine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Indali Lounge is owned by Dr Kartar Lalvani of Vitabiotics. It is spectacularly different from the typical curry restaurants. This one has adopted healthy dining as the mantra and it shows in their food as no butter, clarified butter or cream is used in any of the dishes. They are moderately spiced and hence easy on the palate. The decor of the restaurant is excellent and hence provides a beautiful ambience whether you go there for lunch or dinner.

“Healthy Indian cuisine - an excellent variation from the norm - and tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

Went for dinner. Indali Lounge has very modern decor and subtle lighting.

This is a little different to your typical Indian restaurant. There are no mild/medium/hot curries as such - so no chilli symbols on the menu here. In particular they make play of the fact that all dishes are prepared without ghee, butter or cream.

We were given a complimentary appetiser of a small cup of spicy lentil soup and a crispy mushroom. To start one had Kandhari Chicken Malai Tikka £5.70 and the other had Mushroom Crispy Masala £4.90. To follow we had Konkani King Prawns Fusion £13.20 and the other had Nawabi Grilled Whole Baby Chicken £13.90 and saffron rice £3.30. We had a bottle of Shiraz red wine £20. All of the dishes were well presented and very tasty.

The service was very attentive. Very good value.
