“Travelodge tower bridge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

Convenient location close to the Tower of London and very close to the the underground. The room was small but very clean and looked like it had recently been refurbished. The furnishing was basic but comfortable and made a perfect place to sleep. The hotel is next to the railway and the view from the room was of the railway arches. This did not bother us as we only slept in the room and we could not hear any noise from the trains. Good value for money and I would stay again.

very clean , comfy and modern. King sized bed with good quality mattress and really comfortable pillows/bedding. Breakfast is outstanding value and served until 11am. Staff friendly. reasonably priced bar.

Stayed here for 1 night 28th May 2014, the location is very good and close to Tower Hill Gateway (DLR) and Tower HIll Underground station. That said it is located next to the train tracks on one side and a main road on the other. I stayed on the side overlooking the train tracks / station in room 316 it was a little noisy when the trains passed but other than that the room was fine. Very comfy bed and the room was clean.
Free 30mins Wifi that was quick and only £3 for 24hrs so not too expensive.
Did not eat in the hotel.

Room cost £111 a little expensive for a travelodge but it is London.

Room Tip: Choice of Main road or Train Track side I would go for the train side as they stop around 1am until...

Clean comfortable and good value, but, rooms really are "bare bones" no toiletries, clock, telephone, hairdryer, storage space, bedside tables. Good for short breaks but no longer. Good location, round the corner from the Tower of
London and tube station direct into city. Room we stayed in had no air conditioning and was stuffy at times could warm it up but not cool it down! But noisy when window open. (Travelodge Euston has air con in rooms) small things could improve stays here, extra chair in room (there's only one) but overall a good experience.

Seriously not a place to stay if you are looking for comfort and customer care!!!!

Here is my experience (best pack toiletries)

Staff did nohave a handle on how to deal with cancellations
In my room i had 1 container ofshower gell (yes one an it was no replenished on day 2 when Ihad none not even the empty from day 1
Sorry but the staff appear dissinterested and jut getting through the day, I checked out early and had to request my refund slip, my new invoice etc. The personwo checked me out was quite happy to let me go onmy merry way without these, also, Im told it takes 6-10 days for a refund WHY??
Im not sure if its the disenchanted London way of not caring but I will certainly not recommend or stay, I'd rather trave 20 miles no.
Showerwas pathetic, dirty and broken
One positivie Bed was nice and linen clean, good pillows too

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at this Travelodge and having stayed before knew what to expect. We paid an average of £90 per night which is excellent value for a Central London hotel. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We were next to the railway which was loud with the windows open but a lot quieter with them closed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and are a credit to the hotel. We would stay there again, it's not the Ritz but offers great value for money.

Stayed at the Tower Bridge Travelodge for 4 days in April. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, ie Concert, sightseeing etc.
You get off the tube at Tower Hill, take a left up the stairs, cross the road, walk to the left about 30 yards under the bridge, and round the corner you see the hotel.
The bed was a standard king, and gave you a decent sleep.
The shower was fine, but the towels could be a bit bigger. The staff were helpful.
We had paid for cooked breakfast, which was buffet style. For the price, you would get better quality out on the streets.

All in all, a decent stay for a short break.
