My partner was tasked with choosing somewhere for dinner and he came up with Thai Square.
It was in a good location, although we'd never noticed it before. Food was pretty good, we had several items off the set menu between 5 of us, which was quite good value for money. We tend to share our food to get a taste of everything.
The lamb/chicken in the red/green curry was tasty, although I thought the curry itself wasn’t quite spicy enough. It depends what you’re used to; my mum thought it was super spicy, but she thinks a Korma is spicy..
We had the noodle dish on the set menu also (I think it was called Kwai Dill), which is what I know as skinny noodles (like hor-fun) with curry powder. It was good, but there wasn’t much noodle.. or much of anything else on the plate really.
I love coconut rice, although in my opinion it could be more coconutty..
Portion sizes could be improved, but this could be because it was on the set-menu. I always find that in places with “deals”, they recover the money on quantity. Be cautioned.
Additional note: my mum pointed out that the waitresses were pretty.
