“Good for Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Didn't know what to expect but had to try given all the ratings. I would say it's the British version of Starbucks (many many locations). They have great coffee and tea and we had the croissant sandwiches. Very quick in and out which is important when you have a long list of sights to see.

“Eat well in London and keep food expenses down”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

It's been over a year and I don't trust my memory on specifics, but here's the main point: One hears that food is impossibly expensive in London, and it can be, but you can pop into a Pret near many tube stops in London and pick uo a delicious, fresh lunch for under 5 pounds (see other reviews for details). Eat in place (stools only, as I recall) or take it with you to a park or your destination. You'll be well fuelled until supper. If you're able to make your own breakfast where you're staying, your only significant meal expense will be supper, and there are some economical tasty choices available for that as well (Pizza Express, for one- best gourmet pizza ever). London can be affordable, if you know where to go.,

“What a nice surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2013

I think of Pret alongside the big coffee and fast food chains but my experience this morning could not have been further from that. Greeted by a big smile, a friendly exchange with the Barista resulted in a cup of tea on the house! Excellent bacon roll to go with. Great to have really good service which will pay dividends as I am much more likely to use Pret in future over the other chains when the opportunity arises.

“HOT and Tempting Healthy Food in Chilling climate”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

During my trip to London, I had Opprtunity to explore this lovely resturant chain.

Being Vegan I hogged on Minestrone vegetable soup as well as Vegetable sandwhich. This was filling and could give you warmth as well in the freezing climate

The most healthy option was to exlore the range of smoothies as well. I loved the mix of Strawberry and Banana. This was truly inviting

A must try for each and every tourist who want to enjoy tasty but healthy food in London
