“Great Pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

Rossopomodoro is a great place to eat. Right in the centre of Covent Garden in London, this is authentic cuisine from Napoli Italy.
Don't go getting confused and expecting all sorts of different italian dishes, this restaurant specialises in food from around Napoli and not the whole of Italy. Having said that, there is plenty on the menu to choose from and it's all cooked freshly to order and everything in the kitchen is on view to the whole restaurant.
Lady Katherine ordered the Gnocchi in tomato sauce and I ordered the Pizza Messase, an excellent combination of tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and spicy salami. All the food we ordered was cooked beautifully and arrived at the table in very good time.
The service was excellent and very friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.
I haven't awarded a top rating, as the portion sizes were big and we had no room to enjoy desserts. But, Rossopomodoro is well worth a visit.

“Could do worse in the area, decent all round”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

Friendly, pleasant waiter, food came quicker than expected after being politely warned there could be a wait, olives never came so we cancelled them but not fussed since the pizzas came fast; everyone enjoyed theirs. The Fru Fru is a nice mix for the indecisive, but a little smaller than the others. Wine seemed a bit expensive for but was drinkable. The rum baba was thoroughly enjoyed, along with the custard that accompanied, but I didn't like my overly perfumey cake at all and abandoned it to one of my friends. There are surely better places in the area but this is by no means bad, and conveniently located.

“Great Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

A birthday lunch with family and friends was a success thanks to the super staff and great atmosphere of this restaurant. When you enter the air is filled with the smell from the pizza oven mixed with that of fresh bread. When we arrived at 12.45 the place was half full but within thirty minutes the ground floor was full, and the first floor was taking the overflow. The buzz of conversations and movement was warming and comfortable. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The pizza's looked on the large side so we opted for the pasta dishes and they did not dissapoint.

“Great Pasta and Pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

Went for Sunday lunch with family including teenagers. Excellent pizza and pasta, service was fine although restaurant was full. Staff friendly and efficient. Have been before and enjoyed it then too- but only come here if you like pizza and pasta - there isn't much else on the menu. Only negative was the ladies loos- skanky with broken locks on the doors!
