“wonderful dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

My Wife and were treated to a fabulous meal at the Foyer restaurant at Claridge's.

We chose from the 'menu du jour' which was filled with a very good selection from the starters to deserts.

I have to say the meal was one of the best we have eaten in comparison to other top hotels/restaurants we have frequented.

I think that this restaurant / head Chef has been overshadowed by Claridge's main restaurant Ramsay's, who I must say is no competition for the Foyer Chef!!
The service in the Foyer was top class from all the team.

I would certainly return with dinner guests to enjoy the fabulous food & ambiance.

Overall summary of our evening, SUPERB!!
Thank you to all especially Chef.

“An experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

My husband and I decided to go for afternoon tea at Claridge's as a treat for our special birthdays and anniversary. We were very well looked after and decided to opt for the rose' champagne tea, costing £70 each, the traditional tea being £50. For the extra £20 each we got one glass of rose' champagne each, although it was a very good quality, I still think it was quite a lot of money to pay. We had sandwiches, then scones and preserves, then cakes. Although the portions weren't huge we quite quickly became 'full'. I was disappointed at this because I was so looking forward to the cakes (my favourite course!), however anything left was boxed up and given to us to take home. We were constantly asked if we required more food or tea. It was an experience we enjoyed and were glad we had done it, but it is quite costly, but then again, it is Claridge's and it is London!
