A pretty good location, walking distance from Kings Cross station. Pubs, eateries and a really nice Vietnamese restaurant a couple of minutes down the road (Sen Viet - who do deep fried ice cream.) Friendly staff, but sometimes a bit of a wait at reception. Amazing building, Clink 78 is housed in an old court house. The holding can be seen in the basement near the luggage room (which there is no charge to use.) The 12 bed rooms I slept in was a bit cramped, and there were no under bed lockers. Electronic door entry card for my room kept malfunctioning and twice I had to go down (five floors in the lift) to reception to have it reprogrammed. Bit of poo on the wall in the fifth floor bathroom -urk! Noise from the ground floor carried all the way up to the fifth. Breakfast was nice, cereals, toast, tea, juices. Artwork on wall. The internet suite was in the old courtroom. Sat in the judges chair while surfing the net, which was an experience. Good fun.
Plenty of things to keep residents happy in the evening beer pong in the bar, quiz nights. On the whole it was a good experience for under £14.00 a night .
