I've been all over Europe watching football, but Emirates Stadium is one of the greatest stadiums around, including Wembley and Old Trafford.
The surroundings in North-London is a bit poor and old, but Emirates is monument of modernism. It is so huge that it will take your breath away at first sight. No wonder, because the construction cost was gigantic with £470 millions (finished in 2006).
It's not easy to get an Arsenal match ticket, especially against teams like United or Tottenham. It's always sold out 6 weeks a head of a match. The prices are the highest in Premier League, but the level depends on the away team. The biggest matches will cost you minimum £62, and matches against category C teams (like Sunderland) will cost minimum £25,50. That is if you can get a ticket! The black market varies between £100-450 for one ticket, depending on the away team. You can find these tickets in the streets surrounding Emirates in the hours before the match. But be aware, it's illegal to sell black market tickets, so be careful.
In the hours before a match I would highly recommend The Gunners Pub in Blackstock Road 204, where Arsenal supporters sings and drinks a (lot of) pints. Be there latest 3 hours before the match to get inside. It will be full.
