“Very enjoyable visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Very good food (Sole duo, a New Year speciality was excellent), wine and professional service. Mango cream pudding was very refreshing and a great palate cleanser. Very much looking forward to a return visit!

Brilliant! We had the best ever duck with pancakes and lots of vegies. After as a second choice a duck with rice as a left overs from rosted half one. Absolutely fabulous food!! If we could afford it I would definately go there every week.
Staff really great and amazing view! Worth every penny.

Thank u

“A HIDDEN GEM”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

This restaraunt serves the best Peking Duck in Europe. The dim sums are also prepared like
art work !. The view is fabulous especially I suppose in summer when Hyde Parks trees have leaves and there is some sunlight. Unfortunately when I dined there on 10th Jan London was foggy. The service and ambience were superb. Unlike many Chinese restaraunt where they have a table turn over policy this one was very easy going and did not mind. The cocktail "Sichuan Mary" should be tasted !QQQ

“Authentic restaurant, great view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We booked here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor.
We had an amazing table next to the window, which considering the restaurant was on the 10th floor, meant for an amazing view of London.
The service was amazing from start to finish. My wife has a severe shellfish allergry and our waiter was extremely helpful and at one point, life saving!
The vegetable dim sum platter was beautiful, some amazing flavours and textures. We did order quite a lot of food, purely because we wanted a mix of flavours or textures but everything we ate was amazing. The slow braised pork was gorgeous and I have never had Chinese buns and they were lovely too! I cannot name everything we ate, but everything was beautifully balanced in flavour.
The service was excellent, they were very attentive and I cannot comment enough on the view. We went for lunch which mean we could watch the people in the park and the amazing London skyline.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Our bill was not cheap, but we did over order to get a full taste of what they offered! We did not eat the speciality Duck but many people did - it was a spectacle to be seen!
The chart below asking is is has a scenic view ..................well you have to go

“Dinner with a view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Having eaten superb Peking Duck in both Hong Kong and China recently I wanted to show my family what real duck was like. They had tasted excellent duck in China Town in NYC many years ago so were keenly looking forward to something similar in London.
As everyone who visits will have said, the view is sensational.
We had a great table for the six of us right by the window.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We started with Crabmeat and Sweetcorn soup. It was different to the usual but very good. Next we went on to the duck. We had one a half ducks between the six of us and were surprised how little meat you actually get. We were able to have four pancakes each. It is carved at your table and presented beautifully. We had the usual style pancakes with plum sauce and the Min Jiang version. The meat is succulent but a little fatty.
We requested that the leftover meat be turned into shredded duck in lettuce leaves. This dish was superb.
Next we had three main courses. One prawn, one beef and one chicken. All were excellent - particularly the egg plant with shredded chicken and chilli.
We went for the duck. Although the duck was good we were surprised how good the main courses were.
As with most UK Chinese restaurants, the desserts were a little bland.
Overall we had a very enjoyable meal. Lots of Chinese people dining and many very well behaved children at the tables.
