My wife and I walked past this restaurant a few times during a recent visit to London. We noticed they had a sign outside advertising a roast beef supper. The picture of the meal looked inviting and it was advertised at a good price. We made a point of going there one evening during the supper hour to try their roast beef supper. When we arrived, we were told by the bar waitress that the roast beef was not available and had not been for a couple days. We were disappointed and felt that the pub should not have advertised it's availability to the public if they did not have any. Although disappointed, we did decide to stay and order supper. The menu has a good selection of items. My wife had the Fish and Chips and I had the Steak and Ale pie. We both very much enjoyed our suppers. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. I noted there was an upstairs section to the pub. It is a cozy and interesting little pub to visit. We were glad we stayed!
