Came to London with my wife & 14 year old son for a 3 night midweek stay. The Travelodge Euston is ideally situated for all the attractions & will definitely use again on our next trip to the capital!
Very good value for money.

I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel where I've had so little contact with the staff before. Everything seemed very impersonal and automated... but it all worked well so that wasn't a problem.

Location is great. Literally right next to Euston Station with buses, trains and tube, food, supermarket and corner store within a 2 minute walk. Made a good base for travelling although it could be hard to get back to at certain times of the day (rush hour basically) as the Northern Line is very busy. 10-15 minute walk to a couple of other lines so that wasn't a problem.

It was just me and my 5 year old son so the modest, but nice breakfast buffet was a bargain at £7 or so for both of us (kids eat free!).

Room was small, but neat and tidy. Big comfortable bed. Not much storage but fine for a three night stay. Bathroom was fine. Just main channels on smallish TV. Little kettle we didn't use. Room was hot when we arrived but AC was poweful and worked well. A little noise in corridors at times, but fairly quiet over all.

In a word: Functional. But that was exactly what we were looking for so overall I was completely satisfied with the experience. Don't expect any more than the basics. But it's the basics done well, for a decent price (in London anyway).

The reception staff couldn't really be bothered with us when I asked to check-in, and we were told to do it at the check-in booth. The reception area wasn't particularly welcoming and every area was accessed through security cards so it did feel slightly prison like. Everywhere was clean and the room was minute but reasonably adequate. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom ok but very basic. My main gripes: No safe, no hairdryer! and noisy. Its ok if you need something cheap and cheerful near the stations, and you really just need a bed for the night, otherwise don't bother!

Thank you for your review kate234. We’re sorry to learn you did not receive a warm and friendly welcome on this occasion, we do expect our staff to provide high levels of service at all times and we will ensure our Hotel Management team are made aware of your comments. Unfortunately we do not provide hair dryers in the rooms as part of our brand standard although they can be borrowed from reception, available on a first come first serve basis. We are truly sorry to learn you found the hotel to be noisy. Regrettably due to the central location of the hotel, we cannot always prevent external noise however in an attempt to reduce noise we have insulated walls and double glazing.

Earlier this week I had a one night overnight stay here on a business trip to London.
Whilst checking the directions to find it I came across some shocking reviews, but as booking was out if my control & only one night I would just have to make do.
So on arrival at a handy location next to Euston Station I was very happy to find a nice clean room, which had plenty of towels, pillows, a very comfortable bed & soap in the bathroom with a perfectly good shower. Also I might have been fortunate as I was put in a ground floor room on the back of the building & only thing I heard all night were church bells!
Staff were all effecient & the front of house lady at breakfast charming & breakfast included in price was very good best hotel scrambled egg I have had in years.
Just goes to show not all reviews are accurate or that perhaps venues read & improve!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel as front will suffer from noise of traffic on close by Eusto...

Ideal location for arriving / departing from Euston station. Refurbished rooms pleasant and functional and adequate for a short stay. Comfortable and quiet.Buffet breakfast was decent quality.Good value when compared to hotels in the west end so not paying for facilities or service you may not need. Couple of pubs a few yards away. I was able to leave my luggage for the day when I checked out. Staff helpful and pleasant.

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel in September 2013. Location is perfect for getting around London, buses and Tube station across the road. Rooms small but very clean and tidy, traffic noise not too bad considering near Euston Road, didnt really bother us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. This is not a luxury hotel but for the price it was a real gem. Lots of little pubs around for dinner or even breakfast, and only a short walk to Camden Markets.
