“Be careful - It's fattening!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

What a gorgeous french patisserie! And in London.

The coffee was great and the cakes looked (I can't have them anymore) were terrific. Once again get there a bit earlier than you 'need' to sit down as the seating area is only small and you may have to wait a while. They do takeaway so that is an option in summer if the weather is nice and you can sit outside in Covent Garden and enjoy the passing parade.

The front of the seated area is better, just on entry, as the back room is more stark and has bright lighting with white walls. The place is still all rustic and a great offering.

“Consistently superlative!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

I usually eat here at least 2-3 times a month for breakfast and recently had lunch here also. The food is simple but tastes amazing and the service is simple yet attentive. I find the staff friendly and courtious be it take away or sitting in the restaurant. I truely believe that this 'cafe' should be used as a bench mark for all similar establishments.

“Great breakfasts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

We've had breakfast here a couple of times and have enjoyed both the Croque and Patissier; a basket of croissant, breads and jam, both were excellent and warrant another visit.

We were seated quickly and given time to peruse the menu, enjoy your meal and not rushed away. Excellent value for money.

“Lovely meal in a warm environment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

We were seated promptly in Paul's charming dining room. I had a quiche and salad, and my dining partner had a lovely tomato and mozzarella tartine. The service was friendly and the food was lovely. Paul represents an affordable and convenient place to dine in what is otherwise something of a tourist zoo.
