“Interesting... tiny with ok food”
As the name gives away, this place is indeed tiny....
Small basic wooden tables, close to each other in an old building which gives a bistro feel to it.
If you stick to the £9.95 deal, it is good value for money. Note that side dishes are extra and you need to order a drink. I would not rate this as authentic french cuisine though...
The bread basket didn't make me happy at all, (please change this!)... I hope they will look for a bakery in London that can supply them with decent baguettes...
I would consider giving a higher rating if this was 'en ordre'..
Tried the salmon tartar which was ok but expected something different. The fish was mixed with other stuff. Guess I prefer salmon tartar just to be salmon instead.
The chicken with cheese on top was nice, not sure I ever seen this dish in France, however nice. Piece of steak was fine. The pepper sauce served with it could have a bit more taste.
Service is okish, straight forward, could pay a bit more attention to its customers to check anything else needed.
So I would say... Ok for a simple meal in a slightly quaint setting.
