The owner, Alexis was very hospitable, the service was excellent and the food was delicious! I It was an excellent experience and I highly recommended. It was only a short walk from the Marriott Regents Park where we were staying.

“Great service and great food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013 via mobile

I actually came to The Primrose Eatery because of its ratings on here and wasn't disappointed. A highly eclectic menu and the food was cooked beautifully. Add to this the fact that it's reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly and you're onto a winner.

“Pleasing variety of excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

The menu (designed by the personable Alexis, who took time out of his busy evening to talk with us), includes a range from burgers, to teriyaki salmon, to wood fired pizzas. Yes, this is casual food, but it has an upscale, current, north London kind of panache that renders it much more timeless than the mere term "casual" implies. All of the food was prepared with evident great care, and it was all really very good.

The burger was excellent, the teriyaki salmon outstanding (and the rice was described by one of our party as "the best he'd ever had"), and the pizza had the perfect thin, wood fired, bubbly, cheesy quality that prompts one remember pizzas in dreams from time to time.

The chef, Ian, was also remarkably friendly and helpful, as were all the rest of the staff. The wine list was limited, but was, again, selected with great care. The place is also known for its breakfasts, but, sadly, we were unable to return the next morning.

Next time we return to the Primrose Hill neighborhood, however, we will also come back here. Hopefully, it will be soon.

“Lovely evening, friendly staff, freshly prepared food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

Rather out of the way and as a result there was no passing trade and no other guests, even on a sunny evening. Good food and selection of affordable wine, so hard to understand why so quiet. Staff made up for it by trying really hard to please us. Ok if you are looking for somewhere quiet - but no Friday buzz if that's what you are looking for.
