“Regular visitor”

Love it - we go there lots; great food, full of flavour, super staff. But I agree that there's too much oil - or ghee?

“Expensive and forgettable”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

Walked in as there was an offer on stating 2 courses for £9.95. Food was fine, service good but bill came to near £50 as drinks very expensive.

“Definitely value for money.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

I went there as a treat for myself and what a treat it was. Staff really friendly. They put me at far end of restaurant away from any noise. Because i don't like rice they let me have chips and didn't charge me any extra. They swapped my poppadoms for naan bread which was delicious. I couldn't ask for a better service. Top marks.

“Fancy a Ruby?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

Consistent quality, good portions and pleasant staff. Sag Paneer is usually good, as is Tandori, which I usually have because the chicken sizzles! Starters I tend to go for Mixed Grill nowadays. Only thing that bugs me is you can't get proper Indian deserts here (or anywhere!). I'd kill for a decent kulfi... The rest of the menu is sound though and not too pricey... You won't be blown away, but its good solid fayre. The early bird deal is great value :)

“early evening deal good value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Visited with friends didn't know about the early evening deal but was just in time for it so thought we'd try it. Lots of choice on the menu. Very good value three courses for £9.95 brilliant!

The portions were good, I had aloo pakora for starters and lamb chilli maasala for the main, really tasty. The maasala had lots of chillis in it but still not too hot. Food is well presented, service good restaurant very clean and nicely decorated.

I have visited before and paid the full price, but will try it again at the early bird prices.
