We booked this hotel for our anniversary and could not wait to stay here! We booked a deluxe room with a balcony view the room was like being in the Antarctic :(, it was extremely cold we did ring reception and was told to give it 2 hrs as there was a problem with the air conditioning. After wrapping up we eventually called reception and were moved a floor down to the 4th floor again to our dismay this room was even worse we paid for a deluxe however this room was a luxury not what we had paid for and again no heating!!!! The air conditioning vents were blowing cold air out, we were offered a room move again after waking up dithering at 4am in the morning but refused as we just wanted to enjoy what was left of our stay and thought the same would happen again.

We did visit the bar my partner asked for a Hennessy xo to drink and were told there wasn't any quite rudely! We paid a lot of money for our stay at this hotel and found it by far the worse hotel and experience we had ever incurred!!! Even when we complained the next morning which we have never done the manager on reception was very rude and didn't even offer any apologies!!! We were very disappointed with our stay and definetly will not be staying at this hotel ever again or recommending it to any of our family or friend!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Make sure the room has heating!!!!!!!

Had a fab stay , Comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, helpful staff. Had a delicious meal in Blakes restaurant. would recommend it to anyone.Breakfast was also delicious. It was tough to drag myself out of such a comfortable bed. A good selection of Evening cocktails in the bar and if they were not on the menu the bar staff would make what you requested.

We were lucky enough to stay in the John Lennon Suite on the 2nd of January. As avid Beatles fans we couldn't wait to arrive and check out the room - it was amazing! Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The suite also had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in (so comfortable we struggled all the next day to wake up!) The location of the hotel is perfect, a short walk (2 minutes around the corner) the the Cavern Quarter and another short stroll to the main shopping areas and docks. We did not eat in Blakes but we did treat ourselves to afternoon tea, it was wonderful and a very, very generous portion. My husband and I shared an afternoon tea for 1 person and still couldn't finish it all! The staff were all super friendly and we left Liverpool with a warm and fuzzy feeling about what a friendly, happy city it is .. coming from Birmingham we were also super happy with the shopping - a really lovely selection of high street and independent boutiques in close proximity to one another.
The only teeny, tiny moan was that breakfast was very busy and the staff were run off their feet - we were sat by the servery and it was very noisy (Clattering plates and scraping ..), as a person who is not known for their morning cheer this got right on my nerves ... BUT with everything else taken into consideration I still think this hotel deserves a 5 rated review. We loved it and are already talking about a second trip to Liverpool and the Hard Days Night Hotel soon !!

Stayed in deluxe room with balcony and our two teenage boys in a luxury twin, fantastic hotel, staff incredibly helpful. Trip was booked for our son to gain information on the Beatles (school project) conceirge recommended a taxi tour that would cover all the Beatles main sites 3 hour trip with 19 stops - excellent!!! Well worth it - ask for Joey the taxi driver absolutely amazing. Outstanding knowledge and great fun - even provided the umberellas.

Room Tip: Deluxe room with balcony - well worth the extra!

The room ( after having to ask for a change from the first one as unsuitable for my handicapped husband) was lovely as were the staff. Very disappointed with the breakfast, felt like we were in a three star holiday hotel. Self service breakfast in a four star hotel, strange. Don't mind the cold courses but when I asked for poached egg I was brought a poached egg, not been asked how many I wanted. My husband had the full english which was all overcooked being left in the heated containers so long, when I went for some bacon there was none left !! Last time we were here it was all freshly cooked. Would stay again but would eat breakfast out .

my wife and i stayed at the hard days night hotel on thursday 3rd jan 2013. this was our first visit to liverpool and cannot find fault with anything.we were met at the door of the hotel by a very pleasant doorman who assisted with our luggage and directions to the car park. car park is 5 mins walk away. ( £9 for 24 hours. ), the hotel reception is wonderful, you dont have to be a beatles fan to appreciate it, but it helps. reception is well staffed with professional and pleasant staff, who were very helpful and friendly. our room, 211, no view but that didnt matter. very clean , spacious and well decorated . nice touches with beatles bath washes etc. large comfortable bed. no complaints. we did not eat dinner but had breakfast and it was without fault. tastey and plentiful. we had our breakfast included in our deal , but i would say its worth paying for. the cavern is below the hotel which was a nice surprisde for us. 1 min walk from hotel entrance. checkout was smooth and hassle free. faultless hotel and have already enquired about staying next year . 5 star !

Room Tip: shop around for room rate. phone hotel direct for bast rate .
