“Absolutely Lovely”

Such a lovely little cafe that provides excellent service, a friendly atmosphere and fantastic quality to value ratio. They are more than willing to customise your meal and aren't too bad to look at either! ;)

“An Old English Welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

I was paying a quick visit to Liverpool last weekend (8-11 Feb 2013) and, as well as the last two, I returned to A & J's Cafe. Their full-english breakfasts are to dye for. The range of burgers are second to none and the rest of the menu is very interesting. There is a very warm welcome extended when you walk and attention is paid to every detail. They will adjust meals to suit personal choice, in fact nothing seems too much trouble. The food is excellently cooked and very well presented. It is so comforting to visit a cafe, enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere, and leave well satisfied. They also have internet access, ideal for students.
i would go as far as to say probably the best cafe in Liverpool. I will certainly return there.

“The best cafe in liverpool !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

I can definitely say this is the best cafe in liverpool. The guys who serve you are brilliant and always smiling even when the place is mad busy, nothing is too much to these guys . I have been here on multiple occasions. The quailty of food served is amazing the cooking is brilliantly the breakfast are not dripping with grease which would put many people off. The also offer genuine healthy opions if thats your thing ( never tried them myself) but if its anything like I have had you will not be dissapointed.
The portion size's are perfect I go for the regular breakfast which keeps me going, they do a monster breakfast and trust me its a monster. The prices are excellent well worth the money.
Just give it a try and see for yourself

“I like my restaurants like I like my men...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Warm, friendly and delicious. These guys make a tremendous banterful team. There really is nowhere else you can go to get this mix of comedy, art, fantastic food and lovely internet access thank you please. It's set out to achieve something quite precise and has hit the nail on the head exactly. Front of house Adam is funny, polite, efficient and really puts in that bit extra to make sure everyone enjoys their visit. The food that comes out of Jaymes's kitchen is just sublime - absolutely no complaints. I really wish these guys the best for this business, they really deserve it.
